My name is Ned and I am the author of this weblog. I am an Elementary School teacher in southeastern Michigan, and in no way think I am any good at this. I write this blog because I LOVE movies and I love to talk about movies. I love to turn people on to good films and hope you find something new here to check out. I first got into film in college during an Intro to Japan class. One of the assignments was to watch Akira Kurosawa’s The Seven Samurai, which to this day is in my top 5. I then started exploring other classics and now enjoy all types of movies. Independent and foreign films are my favorites but I also enjoy a good popcorn flick. I reside in Rochester Hills, MI with my beautiful wife Jennifer, and our two amazing children Rachel and Blake (the reasons I haven’t seen as many films the past two years as I would have liked).
Nice stuff buddy and I appreciate very much your ‘about the author’ sentiment. You are a straight forward movie loving guy like me with no pre conceived notions of film review except you like doing it!
